The English language has not done justice to this term. The English translations says that a woman is a suitable helper. I really think that\u2019s wrong. The word \u201cEzer\u201d is defined in the Hebrew Old Testament as a Strong help like when God comes down to do battle for you. It is used to define a help in a military or battle sense. \u201dKENEGDO\u201d is defined as one who comes along side. So it really means a strong fighter who is by your side to battle with you. As we talked the women who is a wife and mother said, \u201csometimes I feel as if my husband just wants me in the stands clapping and cheering for him. I believe I\u2019m in the arena with him, handing him his sword, his ax and telling him, there is an enemy on your right, there is one coming on your left!\u201d She said \u201c I\u2019m there too, I\u2019m not the one fighting but I\u2019m in the battle too.\u201d I\u2019ve never heard that before. It brought me to tears. I said, you\u2019re right, you\u2019re absolutely\u00a0100 % correct. Life is full of battles.
